Only till the d-day arrived i realize.. there were actually 2 exhibition... Main is the baby expo and in hall 3 is the gents expo- with sports cars, camera, mobile, drinks, motors and others related to guy's interest... i guess the organizer taught that mother and children will go to the baby expo while fathers will go to the gents expo... but sadly most of the crowds are all ladies... fathers either have to take care of the children or rather not go at all.. gents expo was a failure.. the most quiet expo i been to... on day one.. the crowds and queue were long but all were heading to the baby expo as most items are selling half price!!! wow.. Me and elaine(another htc showgirl) along with some fresh gear promoters trying to pull crowds to hall 3.. but the organiser were so strict tat we weren't allow to cross over the line... must remain at our hall.. =.=" how on earth are we gonna get ppl in? Plus the4 entrance arch for gents were placed inside the atrium... with no titles.. who on earth aware that there's a gents expo in there.. sigh...
Anyway, due to the slow business.. everyone started closing by 8pm.. yippie off an hour earlier.. keke... i checked the redemption counter... the whole day they only managed to sell one mobile phone.. really pity the promoters.. as they're are based on commission.. but with this situation... its hard to get...
Day 2...
Another boring day... Only interesting thing was the miss babelicious model search contest... however the girls are mostly so-so.... few ain't tat beautiful at all.. but weirdly was selected as top 10 finalist.. -.- not to mention the way they answer the question.. sound so dumb.. no offence yea but it's true... they way they make it into a sentence sound weird and some totally irrelevant with the answer.. for eg:
MC : What does beauty means to you?
Ms Babe : To me beauty is bout wisdom.. yeah.. like me, i have wisdom.. em... with wisdom you'll have knowledge.. that's wat's important.... (can't rem the entire sentence but it's something similar)
Not tat im mean for picking on them.. but just can't stand listening to it...
During dinner time, i went out with mandy, one of htc promoter.... we ate at the food junction... there's this new stall opened selling bird nest and chicken ginseng.. to our surprise... the owner of the stall, the uncle suddenly bring 2 small cup filled with bird nest for us to test.. lol.. not bad actually- it was my first time trying one.. den the uncle start to explain its benefits etc etc.. When we were about to leave he again call us to test the chicken ginseng... lol... it was nice tho.. perhaps you all can try some.. his stall is at the centre of the food junction...
Day 3...
Finally the last day!! i can say bye bye to standing with heelss.. lol... plus today i get to go home at 7pm!!!!! yippie~~ Also i bump into mun kit.. only to realize that louise is pregnant for 5 months!!! wow.. congratez kitt for having a lil girl~~ but pity him for having to spent over thousand just on that day itself...
Today is also D-day they announce the winner of miss babelicious... and ws disappointed with the result... the winner wasn't tat pretty.. there are few other girls who outshined her... Oh well.. i guess there are some underground business?? lol.. There were lion dance as well.. to welcome few VVIP for the ms babelicious contest... the lion dance started from the entrance way into the hall.. it got so crowded and noisy that we can't distribute flyers at all but to stand there and watch along.. lol...hopefully noone from sis saw us...
Come to think of it... today i didnt spent a single cent.. lol.. dinner skipped since we're off by 7pm.. lunch time htc ppl treat me and mandy mcd.. kekeke.. thanks guys~~
At the end of the day... It was fun but bored at the same time.. we had to go out to the atrium to distribute flyer... altho benefit was noone will spy on us... but con was we can't rest... had to stand all day and had to keep a eyes of the strollers coming in and out of the hall.. =.=
