St Arthur's Day Celebration

It's friday! And it's Arthur's Day! and i got free tix to the concert.. wwakakak...

After work, bro and i head to pyramid to attend the arthur's concert organized by guinness...
everywhere was packed with ppl in black(dress code for the concert) lol...

Derek and eunice don wanna go.. so i got extra one tix and bro invited chu kean along.. We meet up at Mcdonald's den hurry to the entrance.. gosh it was packed...

Everyone had to be scanned by termometer- for H1N1... Anyway, as we walk along the road towards the stage.. the area was decorated with many different types of backdrops of guinness and it history.. amazing...

GUINNESS~!

The concert starts at 8pm.. but we was late.. and was way back when we reached the area.. So we slowly made our move towards the stage. as close as we can.. but we was at the left side of the stage.. almost close to the speaker... Better den nothing rite?

Anyway, At that moment, manhand was performing... Everyone was hyper.. Gosh.. free standing is soo freaking tiring and hot.. Sweat the most throughout this whole month... lol.. There were 2 huge screen at both sides of the stage.... Many local and international artists performed.. and about9.30-10pm.. everyone in the crowd was shouting for black eyed peas.. they were the last and the main artist/highlight for the concert.. it took the crew like 10minutes to get the music equipments ready...

When black eyed peas started to perform, everyone jumps up and down and the girls beside me scream til i almost went deaf.. -.-

Black eyed peas sangs quite a number of songs.. also there were some solo performance.. but sadly i was unable to watch them in person.. throughout the entire concert i only see them thru the big screen on my left. gosh.. i hate myself for being so short.. all the tall guys in front block the view... not to forget everyone's hand were raised up in the air, made it worse... sigh... it was so hot and i totally lost mood to see their performance.. and coincidence, charles(my colleague) called. So i met him at the merchandise centre.. chatted a while before he goes back to his post as usher for the vip... Dang, he got extra vip tag.. i should have asked earlier.. tat way i can get into vip lounge and have free guinness.. since bro wanted to try..

Anyway, after meeting up with him, i just stand way back and listen to the performance.. at least at the back has more air to breath...

Black eyed peas wrapped the concert with "boom boom pow" and "i got a feeling" songs.. and the organizer ended the event with fireworks for bout 3 minutes.. so beautiful.. dunno y, but i love fireworks.. watching the fireworks made me recalled my 18 or 19 bday celebration.. when dorian(was my college's lec, now friend) took me to taman aman, paramount garden nearby my college . And displayed few fireworks he brought into the air...

The concert was fun.. but i will never go for a free standing concert anymore.. despite whoever the artist is... its so torturing..

Taken from the big screen.. the stage was way far to capture..
