Nicole 's friend managed to get VIP tix to the event... and she asked me to go de day before.. since i never been to one.. so agreed to tag along.. lol..
After work, i rush home to get changed and rush over to nicole house to fetch her and together we go Stadium Putra for teh shout award organized by 8tv.... Gosh.. everywhere was freaking jam.. i had to go one big round and got stuck in jam for half hour to reach nico's house.. suppose to meet up at 7.30.. but end up i reached her house around 7.50++pm.. the stadium was just in front of us.. but unreachable.. T_T too jam.. end up we parked inside endah parade and walk to there... inmagine both of us.. wearing dress and high heels walk all the way to putra stadium.. sigh.. darn painful my leg.. took us probably 15 minutes to arrive .. just a min before they start to close the gate.. thank god we arrived just on time.. haha
VIP tix... i imagined that our seat wil be quite close to the celebrity area.. BUT was i wrong.. it was way way way far! one end to another end.... and worse is altho the stage is facing the front but the camera and mic was facing towards the side.. meaning all the artists who came up on stage to either receive award nor to give out are all facing on my left- all i see are their left side of the body.. -_-"
i always wondering what happen to the audience during a live show broadcase, and now i know.. during commercial.. we in the stadium was dead bored... nth goes on but bg music... Due to that, every time when commercial comes up., nicole and i and her friends will have "camwhore" moments..
the event lasted for 4 hours roughly.. throughout the event.. it was boring except the moment when jac performed on stage -a tribute to MJ, local singer sang fantasy girl and lastly sean kingston performance! probably wasn't enjoyable cuz others artists are malay(meaning they sang mostly malay songs)-which i hardly listen(not being a racist ok) i do listen to few other malay songs..
as the saying say save the best for the last.. and was it awesome when sean performed! everyone was so hyper.. even those seated also stand up and join the crowd.. He performed total of 3 songs... beautiful girl, fire burning, and keep the fire burning
