Today's the day!! mum, bro, my aunt and i leaving KL to Bali..
Woke up early morning to get ready... suppose to wake up at 6am but we all got up at 7am.. So we quickly rushed to aunt's house at cheras.. gosh it was soo jam that we had to take another way and well, we ain't familiar with the roads.. luckily with the help of uncle, managed to find direction to their house opposite Ue3... Den uncle took over, be the driver to drives us to LCCT, where we gonna take air asia flight to Bali. flight is at 10.55.. we have to reach there 2 hours earlier.. so uncle was speeding so fast.. least 140 with our viva car... gosh. the car will have lots of probs in future cuz uncle was forcing the engine to speed up... T_T
Once reached the airport, we checked in and had our breakfast in McD. When we was about to enter to gate, apparently some sun block lotion and shampoo bottles werent allow to hand carry, we didnt know that, bro and i quickly rush to the counter to check in but it was too late.. so we had no choice but to pour all the liquids into a plactic bags.. and because of that we was almost late to catch the plane.. just few minutes left before the plane depart.. phew.. luckily.. haha.. darn tiring run up and down...
It took us 3 hours to reach bali airport.. during the flight, we were requested to fill in few forms regarding our healths due to H1N1 disease... Once we reached the airport, mum and aunt searched for our tour guide, Agung... he den bring us to our hotel which are just nearby.. Bayu Prani Hotel, Kuta.. the rooms are OMG! it stated to be 3 stars.. but if im to rate, i'll give them 1 star! why? cuz the room is small.. once u enter, the toilet is on ur left just like first world... and the doors are not in good conditions.. there was a gab/hole at the toilet door.. one can easily peek thru it...
Anyway, after we check into the hotel, we were brought to tour around the area and end up at the nearby beach.. gosh.. there are plenty of 5 stars hotels nearby such as holiday inn and hard rock hotel.. now those are worth staying.. haha.... nearby are mostly shops selling inported goods such as Rip Curl, Gucci etc etc.. which would cost a fortune if im to shop there.. ><
After that, we went to Uluwatu to watch dance performance and temple located at the hill.. We went around to take pictures.. it was scary cuz we took several pictures close to the cliff.. few steps ahead gonna fall.. lol.... oh ya, that area are full of wild monkeys, who will snatch things from tourists... I saw a guy was holding either pda or camera on his palm, and the monkey was trying to snatch.. perhaps tot it was a food.. lol.. luckily Agung advised us in advance for not bringin down our caps and glasses...
Bro and i- we had to wear those cloth around our waist as a respect to the dance later..

the dance was boring as it has no dialogues just slow dance movements and face expresion to bring out the act.. but in the middle, a guy came and enlighten up the atmosphere.. it was hillarious.. and the monkey(human pretended, costume) would comes out behind the audiences out of nowhere and disturb them... THe show lasted for 1 hour, it was 7 by then but the sky was so dark, felt like 8pm... Agung brings us to dinner... it was unique how the food was presented.. rare... around 9 something we went back to the hotel... bro and i started to browse thru the tv(they have astro) and searched for nice shows.. we watched arirang and disney channel for almost 3 hours nonstop.. haha....
our dinner.. so funny and unique the way they served it.. fish being cooked tis way.... rice were stored in the rolled banana leaf.. others are side dishes,center soup...
Day 2- 20/5/2009, Wednesday
Woke up at 7am.. got ready and head to cafe for breakfast.. at 8am, agung came and took us to Kintamani to watch another dance performance similar as yesterday but more boring.. almost doze off.. lol.. After that, we went up the hill to witness the active volcano.. and i tot we will be able to see it upclose.. but no.. it was way far... we only able to see from the restaurant we had our lunch at Bumi Ayu.. buffer lunch but hell lots of flies wondering around.. countless....

Then, they took us to another temple to see the holy water.. why holy water? because the waters came from underground.. sand produced the waters and lead to outside lake for locals/prayers to bath with it and get lucks/ blessing...

On our way out, there are alot of small stall selling similar items... but different price.. gosh the ppl there are aggresive.. they pull u and asked u to buy.. keep bugging u with low price.. you can bargain until the price u want...
Then we went to coffee farm.. a place where they show us how to make the coffee and agung shown us the coffee plants/seeds.. We were also given chance to try out few types of coffee and hot chocolate.. not bad tho... i wanted to buy hot chocolate for myself but mum dont allow... saying milo is better... so i just brought a set of three flavours for dear's parents..
Then night we was brought to this chinese restaurant... 4 dishes and one soup.. not bad tho.. and there was a guy performing... knowing we're from Malaysia, he played tong hua song.. sang it as well.. not bad.. haha..
After dinner, head back to hotel.. bro and i once again sit in front of tv and watched til midnight.. haha...
